About Us
The Vásárhelyi Talent Point aims to identify, support, and orient children and the young talented in drama, fine arts, folk music, and folk dance. Our task is complex self-development with the methods of art pedagogy.
In our research activity, we focus on the identification and support of talented dancers. Based on our results, we have worked out our own system of talent identification. We devote especially great care to the development and integration of highly disadvantaged students. We function as a reference institution, we help other professionals by sharing good practices.
Sharing our Knowledge
We have far-reaching relations and the number of our partners is growing. We have held dance training events in Szabadka, we have developed a twin-school program with Mérai Elementary School in Transylvania, and also contacted schools in Upper-Hungary and Sub-Carpathia.
We organize conferences, workshops and we put great emphasis on introducing talents to a wider audience. We also organize nationwide professional events and competitions. We create communities that can cooperate for decades to achieve a common goal.

We are a registered talent point and a proud member of the Hungarian and the European Talent Support Network, which has become the biggest European NGO in the field of talent support, with more than 400 member institutions.
Through our work, we live up to the aims of the network, including increasing the identification of highly abled young people and providing support to them; sharing best practices internationally, and developing a culture that promotes respect and celebrates diversity.
